What You’ll Do:

In this newly created role, we are looking to identify a dedicated Inventory and Yield Manager. This position will report to the EVP of Finance and work cross collaboratively with Ad Sales and Data & Analytics. The focus will be to bring innovative processes, automation of initiatives, with optimization intelligence to influence pricing for advertiser, product, content segments, and inventory management.

  • Analyze and profitably allocate video advertising inventory for Spotters platform
  • Support Sales Strategy and Planning by providing on-request inventory forecasts and avails
  • Manage campaign revenue at risk and provide optimization recommendations that achieve
    client and platform KPIs
  • Create actionable reporting and insights including campaign pacing, sell through, monetization,
    sponsorship performance analysis and ad hoc reports
  • Analyze historical data to forecast scale on Spotter including ad innovations and unique
    sponsorship opportunities
  • Analyze and understand inventory levers and patterns to refine forecasting methodologies,
    processes, and tools
  • Contribute to maintaining documentation on process and methodologies on how we do things
  • Build a best-in-class inventory planning and management tool
  • Create and management various inventory management and yield reports, including a weekly
    inventory utilization and monetization report
  • Identify new opportunities to increase revenue and monetization

Who You Are:

  • B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in media planning/strategy
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook). Google
    Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
  • Ability to learn new proprietary software and processes quickly and proficiently
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills, with ability to present internally and externally, maintain
    client correspondence and internal documentation
  • Detail-oriented, good follow through, able to multitask, and work well under tight deadlines in
    a fast-paced environment in order to meet client and internal deadlines/obligations

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Los Angeles or New York. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The overall market range for roles in this area of Spotter are typically: $100-$500K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual discretionary bonus and equity.
