  • Manage provisioning and deprovisioning of users, accounts, and hardware (onboarding/offboarding).
  • Support collaboration and connectivity between R&D, engineering, and production teams to ensure seamless technology operation across environments.
  • Assist in the implementation of automation initiatives, imaging, and deployment tools to improve IT efficiency and consistency.
  • Enforce and promote IT security best practices, including access control, data protection, and compliance with DoD-related cybersecurity policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the ticketing system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, or equivalent).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and Production teams to support equipment setup, system integrations, and ongoing reliability.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • 3+ years of IT support experience, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, or hardware engineering environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and network components.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing IT systems, including connected devices, production networks, and IT/OT segmentation principles.
  • Experience administering Active Directory, Office 365, Intune, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
  • Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
  • Experience using helpdesk/ticketing systems and asset management platforms.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to translate technical details into accessible explanations.
  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications) are highly desirable.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional standing and walking within the office.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports.
