Job Overview
We are seeking a Security Specialist responsible for implementing and managing all aspects of security compliance, personnel clearance processes, facility security, and program protection. You will be critical in ensuring our operations align with DoD regulations and safeguarding sensitive technologies and information across our programs.
Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with DoD security regulations, including NISPOM, ICD, and RMF guidelines
- Manage personnel security (PERSEC) processes
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures for physical, information, and operational security
- Oversee secure facility operations, including SCIF or SAPF construction, access control, and visitor management
- Support cybersecurity efforts and coordinate with IT to ensure NIST RMF compliance and integration with physical security
Qualifications
- Familiarity with NISPOM, 32 CFR Part 117, DCSA guidelines, and related frameworks
- Experience with DISS, NISS, and e-QIP
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition security, program protection, and CUI management
- Certified FSO (CDSE) and/or other security certifications (e.g., ISP, SFPC) are a plus
