This is a remote position.
This role will be responsible for managing warehousing and logistics operations covering inland movement, inventory management, arrangements for goods from 3PL warehouses to Amazon fulfilment centres / other ecommerce platforms / direct to customers. The scope of work includes but is not limited to coordination, inventory management, shipment tracking and inventory reconciliation. He / she must have the ability to work efficiently and professionally with 3rd party service providers.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all 3PL to Amazon & customer orders are arranged in full and on time
Ensure predictability of delivery, with penalty systems in case of failure to meet SLAs
Maintain centralised logistics data sheet for all shipments for relevant stakeholders
Communicate, record and update accurate and timely shipping information to all
Drive 3PL pricing and cost reduction improvements to improve margin
Organise inventory reconciliation processes with warehouses ensuring accurate stock for long term inventory pipeline evaluation
Operational Excellence
Define optimized supply chain operating model for brands with various nodes
Own and manage strategic relationships with key service providers and source for new/alternative partners to improve delivery time & lower costs
Collaborate well cross-functionally to identify problems & implement solutions
Set up processes & rules for shipping from factories / 3PL warehouses to Amazon
Contract Management
Drive contract discussions with key vendors along with operation specialists
Maintain key contract agreements and ensure compliance by involved parties to meet the set SLAs
Performance Management
Define SLAs and review vendor performance of each BU through Ops Specialists
Report overall 3PL partner performance to key stakeholders in the business
Report detailed cost performance with insights for BUs to run operations better
Governance
Establish documentation needs for audit purposes and ensure teams to comply
Set up standard Netsuite updating & operating instructions for Operations
Set up monthly review cadence for vendor performances
Set up SOPs and reports for operations specialists to follow
Check all logistics / inventory data updates in systems are timely and accurate
Requirements
At least 8-10 years in operations / logistics / warehousing
Professional experience in Warehouse Management and Logistics preferred
Advance computer skills & good in Excel including pivot tables
Experience dealing with freight forwarders outside of China
Preferred experience with Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA)
