Job Description
Justpoint is seeking highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented legal assistants and paralegals to join our Mass Torts team. These positions are fast-paced and support a team of attorneys doing regular litigation in state and federal courts.
Job duties may include
- Assist with the day-to-day management of mass tort cases from inception through resolution
- Assist in medical records retrieval and review
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to coordinate tasks and ensure seamless case progression
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on case status as directed, gathering necessary information, and addressing client concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Court filings, document management and review, propounding and responding to discovery, noticing depositions, and similar
- Uploading and updating client information into a case management database
- Staying abreast of rules of civil procedure in both state and federal courts, including CM/ECF filing/Pacer and arranging for service of pleadings and subpoenas
Experience requirements
2+ years of experience in Mass Torts.
