Job Description

‍Justpoint is seeking highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented legal assistants and paralegals to join our Mass Torts team. These positions are fast-paced and support a team of attorneys doing regular litigation in state and federal courts.

‍Job duties may include

Assist with the day-to-day management of mass tort cases from inception through resolution
Assist in medical records retrieval and review
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to coordinate tasks and ensure seamless case progression
Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on case status as directed, gathering necessary information, and addressing client concerns with empathy and professionalism
Court filings, document management and review, propounding and responding to discovery, noticing depositions, and similar
Uploading and updating client information into a case management database
Staying abreast of rules of civil procedure in both state and federal courts, including CM/ECF filing/Pacer and arranging for service of pleadings and subpoenas

Experience requirements

2+ years of experience in Mass Torts.
