People Operations Manager, United States
EvenUp is hiring a People Operations Manager based in the United States to help ensure that our onboarding and ongoing people operations administration are top-notch. We’re growing at a rapid pace, and this opportunity is perfect for someone who wants a front-row seat to hypergrowth–and to be part of the show! You will manage our full employee life-cycle including onboarding, internal operations, and employee experience.
What you'll do:
Own employment-related changes including new hire paperwork (I-9s), background checks, verification of employment, and employee records
Assist with various administrative responsibilities, such as maintaining employee records, preparing regular reports to track key people metrics, payroll support, and scheduling interviews
Serve as initial point of contact for first tier HR questions on topics including benefits, visas, onboarding, orientation events, new hires and People systems
Administer HR processes including visas, performance management, and compliance processes
Optimize our people operation and automate processes whenever possible
Bring an ownership mentality to all you do–always thinking about how we can best enable our team to do the best work of their lives

Ability to problem solve quickly and effectively, while keeping the needs of the whole business in mind
Experience working in an operational role and fast-paced environments
Exceptional attention to detail and customer-service orientation
Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience working with HRIS systems
Professional discretion and ability to appropriately handle confidential information
