What You'll Be Doing
The Manager, Data Analysis will be responsible for turning operational and financial data into actionable insights that drive business performance. This role partners closely with sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure leadership has timely, accurate, and relevant information for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dashboard Development: Design, maintain, and improve dashboards that provide clear visibility into business performance.

  • Data Collection & Integration: Collaborate with stakeholders to source and integrate data across systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.

  • Reporting & Analysis: Deliver recurring and ad hoc reporting that highlights performance trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work directly with sales, finance, and operations to understand information needs and translate them into analytical solutions.

  • Data Quality Management: Implement practices to ensure consistency, reliability, and usability of data assets.

  • Continuous Improvement: Act on feedback from users to refine reporting and analytics tools.

  • Enablement & Training: Equip stakeholders with the knowledge and skills to use dashboards and reports effectively.

  • Center of Excellence Needs: The CoE is designed to serve Embark with many different domain expertise needs, high-priority ad hoc requests are expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business, Analytics, or related field.

  • Experience as a data analyst or in a similar analytical role within a business environment.

  • Proficiency with data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools (e.g., Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).

  • Basic understanding of data management and data modeling.

  • A strong leaning toward continuous learning, no fear of new tools or methodologies.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and interpret complex datasets.

  • Effective communicator capable of presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, or similar).

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships across departments.

  • Ability to be flexible and adjust priorities as firm needs shift.
