What you’ll be doing…
Embark is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting and Billing Admin to join our accounting team! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the accounts receivable process in its entirety all the way from invoicing to collections. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Follow-up with clients to facilitate timely payments
Reconcile client accounts and resolve any billing discrepancies
Record customer payments and allocate them to appropriate accounts
Assist in month-end close process by preparing necessary reports and schedules related to accounts receivable
Analyze accounts receivable aging reports and provide insights to management regarding overdue accounts and collection trends

You will be working with a collaborative team alongside other departments while serving employees and clients across multiple markets, practices, and industries.
To be a good fit for our Accounting and Billing Admin role you will have:
A bachelor’s degree
At least 2 years of relevant work experience handling account receivables and collections/billing
Strong communication skills
Experience building client relationships with multiple stakeholders (ie. business development, managing directors, and external clients)
The ability to work independently and on multiple projects concurrently
An eagerness and willingness to continuously learn new skills and evolve as the company does
The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
A positive attitude. We work hard and we’re having a blast doing it!
