We’re looking for a Production Manager to help Embark create quality, engaging production, help support IT functions, while reinforcing the one-of-a-kind culture that differentiates us from other consulting firms.
Who we’re looking for
To excel in this role, you’ll need to be a self-starter who is ready to perform on day one. You’ll need to be adaptable, and come in with ideas, suggestions, and the attitude that you’re willing to try just about anything. In a small team like ours, everyone wears a lot of hats, and nothing is “not your job.” The environment is dynamic, so you’ll also need to be flexible and adaptable to change as we grow.
We are looking for a motivated Production professional who will play a key role in the growth of Embark! You will be creating engaging video for internal and external use, producing events, and giving IT support. Ideally, you have a strong background in A/V/L Production and ideally some time spent working in IT. You have a true passion for people and culture, are driven to develop yourself and those around you, and, of course, you must love helping our clients solve problems!

To be a good fit for our Production Manager role you will have:
Bachelor degree (preferably in AVL production) or similar work experience
Minimum of 2 years experience in AVL production with experience in IT
An excellent portfolio showcasing a wide range of video direction and editing capabilities
Proficiency in Adobe Suite, and Davinci Resolve
Experience mixing live audio, running events, and solving production problems during events
Comprehensive knowledge of the video development and production process from concept through a finished product
Familiarity with a wide range of production and IT hardware and software
In-depth knowledge of video and audio production gear
Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to communicate clearly and quickly to a wide audience of stakeholders and situations
Capacity to self-manage, working both independently and as part of a team
What you’ll be doing…
Develop high quality, creative videos for web, emails, social media, etc
Make recommendations on production related equipment
Create processes for different types of video content across various platforms
Translate our product and brand objectives into compelling and inspiring motion graphics, audio & video content
Collaborate closely within the marketing & design team throughout the design process and align on brand messaging and creative goals
Demonstrate your own strong decision making to maintain an on-brand design language and excellent execution of each project
Contribute to our long-term marketing strategies & brand development
Manage & maintain the in-house A/V/L equipment
Work with the Marketing and Production dept heads to organize production schedules
Handle administrative responsibilities associated with projects including organization of file information, video assets and audio and video archive
Stay up to date on social media trends and collaborate with the social media manager to create compelling content for tiktok, instagram, and linkedin
Support IT through helpdesk tickets and on site HQ help
