Job Description

As a Strategy & Operations Analyst for the Brick & Mortar Retail team at Acquco, your role involves supporting the company's offline retail sales channels on a global scale. The responsibilities of this role include supporting the VP & Director of Brick & Mortar in developing product positioning, conducting market analysis, creating pricing strategies, and developing compelling pitch decks for potential retail buyers. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for market trends.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Strategy Development:

    • Support the development and implementation of strategies to increase the presence of our products in brick-and-mortar stores

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key opportunities and challenges in the retail market

  • Product Positioning and Market Analysis:

    • Develop product positioning that highlights our competitive advantages

    • Define go-to-market strategies for products entering brick-and-mortar stores

  • New Product Opportunities and Trends:

    • Identify new product opportunities by researching current viral products on social media and analyzing consumer trends

    • Use data-driven insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.

  • Pricing Strategy Development:

    • Develop pricing strategies for our products that maintain good margins while remaining competitive

    • Monitor market pricing trends and adjust strategies to ensure our products remain competitively priced

  • Pitch Deck & Material Development:

    • Create compelling pitch decks to effectively communicate our product to potential retail buyers

    • Highlight key product benefits, market potential, and competitive advantages in pitch presentations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.

  • 1+ years of experience in strategy development, market analysis, or a similar role.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Knowledge of current market trends and consumer behavior analysis.

  • A self-starter who is highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Passion for start-ups, e-commerce, and rapid growth is a must

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the consumer goods industry.

  • Familiarity with social media analytics and trend analysis tools.

  • Experience in developing pricing strategies and competitive analysis.

Additional Information

Compensation will be $60,000 - $80,000 USD, depending on experience
